DIALOGUE
GROUPS

West County Dialogue Group
What
is dialogue?
We
currently have four dialogue groups representing nearly 100 St.
Louisians' of diverse backgrounds that meet on a monthly basis.
The dynamic groups are comprised of individuals from various faith
communities, laity & religious leaders.
Our dialogue
groups represent people coming together in conversation to seek
a deeper awareness of the reality of faith in their lives. Dialogue
groups foster a better understanding of faith traditions outside
of their own. The groups form small communities that encourage and
empower one another as agents of reconciliation and transformation
in their environments.
Please call
Irene Randall at 314-531-4787 if you would like to join one of our
dialogue groups.

Interfaith
Collaboration between West County Congregations:
The kick-off forum was
hosted by United Hebrew on January 31. The collaboration includes
United Hebrew Congregation, the Islamic Foundation of Greater St.
Louis, Manchester United Methodist Church and the West County Bahai
Community. From this forum the West County Dialogue Group will be
formed, ultimately leading to the participating congregations participating
in a community service project through Faith Beyond Walls.
Youth Adult Dialogue Action (YADA) Ambassadors
YADA Ambassadors is comprised of campus ministers from local Missouri and Illinois Universities. The goal of YADA is to connect campus ministers in an effort to stimulate involvement from individuals of faith and goodwill between the ages of 18-35 in inter-religious dialogue, education and community service programs throughout the region. YADA also creates a platform that encourages emerging young adult faith leaders to be more civically engaged and socially conscious. If you are interested in being a part of the YADA Commission, please contact us.
