Projects & Programs
 

Dialogue/Education: Brings together individuals from various faith communities, educational institutions, and community organizations to participate in meaningful information sharing.

  • Dialogue Groups: Monthly meetings that provide opportunities for individuals of diverse faiths to share beliefs about religion, social issues, and other topics of interest to group members.
  • Educational Series: Topical educational programs around issues of religiosity that increase awareness across board audiences
  • Seminars, Forums, and Panel Discussions: Episodic events that increase awareness of and clarify interfaith perspectives on current and emerging issues of common concern, such as poverty and stem cell research.

Celebration: Provides opportunities for faith communities to learn more about one another through informal exploration of religious and cultural traditions.

  • Music Festival:
    Annual Fundraising event involving song, dance, and other forms of artistic expression that fosters mutual respect and understanding among diverse faith groups.
  • Annual Dinner: IP’s largest interfaith gathering and fundraising event that enables the St. Louis community at large to explore interfaith work in a social gathering.
  • Unity Picnic: Social gathering that connects families and individuals beyond structured programs and events.

Social Advocacy: Enables faith communities to collaboratively address social issues by generating strategies, resources, and awareness campaigns in response to pressing social concerns.

  • Social Issues Committee (SIC):
  • Congregational leaders and representatives research policy issues that negatively impact the underserved, disseminate this information to their respective faith communities, and call upon the collective faith community to advocate on behalf of their fellow Missourians.

Health: Assists faith communities in promoting health and wellness to underserved communities by reducing barriers to high-quality health information and care.
